So I was thinking, since most wf trade sites are superbly out of date, most people have to blind guess unless they have people who know of the current prices. Kind of a pain. Is there a way we can make a page on here that can list these prices, but be able to be modified by people as things change? Just something that can help us all keep a stable market would be nice.

that would be a masssive thing to do - and i think only a certain rank and up can edit posts. i would be down for this but just organising and creating such a list would be a massive pain and not entirely worth the hassle

Well, the idea itself is good but who'd be willing to keep track of prices and updating them?

Also only warlords and generals have forum moderating powers so if someone else was willing to do it, (s)he'd have to keep updating it him/herself.
I'm open to suggestions.

Yes, there is http://wftrading.net/, but I personally don't participate in trading (just here and there with clanmates), so I have no idea how up to date the site is. But according to what Fionnyaa said, it's probably not up to date, but I wouldn't know

Yea, that site doesn't even have nyx prime on it, so it's preeeetty out of date.
And yea, it would be a massive ordeal. I have a small list that I received from Ixao.
If anyone who's an active or business level trader wouldn't mind whatever resource they use (I assume they must keep a notepad or spreadsheet to maintain their level of trading) could upload it for everyone else to see, then that'd be helpful. I'm not to that level. I just trade bits and bobs when I see the opportunity in case my vain veins require a shiny thing.

there's 3 reason why me must trust this site:
1/ so far this is the most relible source we can find and trust
2/ the website been update since 19.9.2014, which is about 3-4 month late, which not very long ago.
3/ we're all lazy sack of swag that won't research any futher (acording to Bale said, actually no, i kinda over reacting this one up abit)

Well, if http://wftrading.net is so out of date, then it might be a good idea to have an updated list, but then again, you'd have to find someone who'd that... and I have no idea who'd be willing to do so much work

I'd do the work if only there was such a thing to do.

Who sets the price? And you would just be told it is wrong.

I think it needs some kind of datamining expert to get the avg prices. Not like the old WoW auction houses.

I would suggest perhaps a Google Spread that we could make several people admin of who could amend as they see fit. Viewable by the rest of the world

Google spread could work. The way I understand it, prices vary so the spread would perhaps have to have several prices for each thing. Like wftrading, low, medium, high. Maybe each of those admin people would be adding their encountered prices with the spread making an average sum? I have no idea, I'll leave this up to people who actually do the trading and would be willing to participate in this

I'll look for a list to start this.

Came across this comment which is pretty much how I see it.

"Pricing right now is entirely based on supply and demand at that precise moment. There's no generally accepted cost for anything, it will vary entirely on how many people are in trading selling a particular item at a time. It is entirely a free, chaotic market with no real guidelines or community consensus on appropriate price ranges.
Case in point, the normal going price for Corrupted Mods, for instance, is usually 10-20ish. I bought three for 5 plat to finish out my collection, then sold one of them the morning after for 20 plat just because I was the only one with that particular mod."

The launch of wftrading seems to foretell its doom.

Perhaps if we have a group of editors this may suffice.

https://docs.google.com/s ... 278/edit?usp=sharing

Its stolen from reddit and mostly blank but gives basic info.

Perhaps guidelines on editing the prices are in order? Prices shown are known asking prices rather than sale prices.

What do you think?

Prices in there are actually seen by myself on EU region. Already changing.

Pages added to bottom for other saleable items

I know that despite putting prices in, someone very soon will say..." that price is wrong, I sold it for X" ,

I have no doubts about that. Luckily, I'll be watching this thing from afar

Yes, I feel like there should be a disclaimer reading: "Warframe is currently a community driven market, meaning prices are unstable and to the will of people. Take these prices as ranges for fair trade, but know there will be people who sell it for dirt because they don't know any better or are desperate, and there are some who will try to rip off your limbs for it because they're dicks."

Nice thread idea, but need clan members to watch the market around the world and to contribute for this
