Not sure if you seen this before but you can gain some INSANE amounts of exp and rep through this method (I don't own this video):



I did this earlier with a friend of mine and I got this much (Only 4 rounds, no booster, 11% rep regalia):

What you need (correct me if I'm wrong):
  • 2-3 Excalibers with a power strength (maybe not Blind Rage so you can spam more), range, and efficiency mods only. NO NEED for redirection, vitality, etc. They just spam Radial Javelin in the middle of the map, which is close to D point.
  • 1-2 Trinity with range, efficiency, and power strength to counter Overextended and more energy per pulse. They need to be on the 2 boxes behind D point and to constantly Energy Vampire someone. And just in case, Blessings if someone is dying.
  • A LOT of energy restores. A LOT of them.
  • Only capture D and C points, leave the rest in Grineer possession. This makes the enemies come towards you.
  • At 98% stop and run around to collect loot.

It isn't a new idea-it's just the Viver Krew but replacing Corpus with Grineer. Still stupidly effective though.

ideal (from memory) ill post my actual build later

Excal builds costs 25 energy to spam an RJ but you lose the 99% damage from BR which is okay.
trinity with max strength and range ensure that the energy gain is maximised and reaches the excals.

ideal squad loadout
1 trinity (good one)
2 excals (maxed out)
x - option such as rhino roar builds/ mirage doesnt work / synd elemental damage builds / nekros / another excal if you want to over over kill things

everyone should be situated around that box or to the right where i like is a sort of bridge thing with steps. if you step on the top of the steps and spam its the best imo i love that spot.

there are 2 main areas.
Ceres>Draco (lower rep gain however drops cells)
Uranus (hehe)>Stephano (high rep gain but no cells)

I run a non maxed Blind Rage, rank 7 or 8? don't remember which, but it makes radial jav cost 50 energy. Because i have Blind Rage instead of Flow this means i can use javelin 3 times if i have full energy. While this doesn't sound like a lot, any good trin means its more than enough.

The damage boost is quite nice if you plan on doing 4 rounds to keep kills going as fast as possible.

Buffer notes, I find a oberon/saryn modded for their syndicate damage buff to be way better than rhino. Never ran with volt/frost/ember, but they should all give more damage then rhino.

Don't even need energy restores unless something went terribly wrong.

LegendsCreed Mirage Augment mod Total Eclipse does work, it works even better than Rhino!

The right Trinity build gives the team about 219 Energy (Max Power Strenght and Max Range). Excalibur with maxed Blind Rage, Transient Fortitude and Intensify (my build) needs like 65 Energy for Radial Javelin (with maxed Streamline and Fleeting Expertise).

Btw, while running to collect the loot the Excaliburs should use Radial Blind so you won't get shot by the Grineer or use Large Team Shield restores....

Btw2, best option to lvl up weapons are Trinity and Rhino/Mirage because the Excaliburs don't get exp from their Radial Javelin kills but from the other Excaliburs Radial Javelin.

I can post more Details if needed but so far that's how you Draco and Stephano for rep.

I prefer the tactic that UK and Zicos run (similar setup, Excal, Trin, TE Mirage, and they open teh 4th slot to anyone, often to help level a frame). We do Stephano and rush through all of the rounds (cap all 4 towers) to get a key. We get half the rep, but just do it twice and we are always capped. Pretty much same time commitment, with an additional 2 T4 keys.

from what i hear and the wording behind the TE synd mod it doesnt. as it "buffs weapons" (quote en quote).

the only frame would benefiting from this would and i quote again "mesa because peace makers are weapons"

Do some testing though from everything ive heard it doesnt work on RJ's

Anyone do a run with an ember buffing yet?

With her in re work mode I'm assuming she'll be a bit more popular.

Fireball augment with accelerant on a max range max power build Ember should be insane damage.
Augments being over 300%, then accelerant should also be around 300%. Not to mention cloned flesh taking +25% from fire damage. Accelerant has 5m less range than Javelin, so she'd have to stand a little out from the box, but that shouldn't be a big deal.

Alternatively, I believe Banshees sonar should cover draco easy, maybe without overextended even. How have I not seen any of them buffing the Javelin damage?

EDIT, Banshee needs max stretch and rank 1 overextended for her Sonar to reach the same distance as max range Javelin. This mean very little power str lost. With no power str loss sonar hits for 1420% extra damage. So if your Javelin would usually hit for 1,000 damage, it would instead hit for 14,200 damage.

This only applies if the javelin hits the weak spot, however an enemy can have more than 1 weak spot active at one time. Sonar spam combined with the Sonar Augment (Resonance), which spreads sonar to enemies when a enemy is killed from sonar damage, should mean enemies are basically coated in a 1420% damage buff zone.

I just need to find someone with a banshee who wants to test this out.

Mirage's Total Eclipse buffs Bladestorm, Hysteria, Peacemaker and Radial Javelin. I am sure that i saw 4-6k hits in Draco repfarming while a Mirage gave us like 240% dmg buff.

SharkGod i like your ideas, but we were through the most of them long ago... If it comes to rep farming ppl want an efficient way. 2 excaliburs spaming RJ and Trinity restores the energy is an efficient way.
The damage buff from Mirage/Rhino are the best so far because you don't have to spam it. You just use the skill till the duration is over and recast it. My Point is you can't recast Sonar fast enough to cover the hole area because the enemies die so fast that it wont even get to them...

The squad would be Trin, 2 Excal, and Banshee in my plan. Sonar has a MUCH larger range than Excal javelin so it would be able to tag targets. The thing that really interests me is the Syndicate augment for banshee. It sends out another wave of sonar if a sonar applied enemy dies. This combined with a banshee just spamming out sonar from trins energy I feel would work quite well. Anything that increases Javelins damage is definitely good, but the more damage the better. If I can one shot an eximus unit instead of 5 Javelins to kill it, that means more kills, more rep, more xp, and more spawns.

Short answer: Because 1 enemy can have multiple instances of Sonar on it.

RJ does not target specific areas, that is correct. So if you could only apply 1 sonar per enemy, I don't think it would work.

Lets assume the Banshee only gets 1 mark on a group of enemies when they spawn. Random marks and random RJ means that not all enemies get the super damage buffed Javelin, but some should. As long as 1 Sonar affected enemy dies its sonar then spreads, because of the syndicate augment, to all nearby enemies. This spread distance is also increased by ability range btw. This means that not only can Banshee tag enemies outside of the RJ range, enemies within the range then turn into Sonar bombs spreading sonar to any enemy nearby.

What do you get when you have an enemy with 5 stacks of sonar on them before they even make it into the RJ range? A target that RJ can almost assuredly hit.

The Banshee concept isn't as bad as it sounds. I figure however that its primary purpose wouldn't be to increase damage, but to mark the enemies. I've seen many a PwrStr Excalibur run right out of energy because the enemies get stuck, slow down, or just don't spawn for a second. I would use Banshee and her augment for the great utility it brings. This however, can be fixed with just bringing one PwrStr Excalibur and one EFF Excalibur. The Banshee idea is innovative, however I don't feel that it is powerful enough to use unless you know you're playing with a not so good Excalibur.

i ran the other day with a maxed out oberon? that smite infusion is killer XD its like 350% rad damage which is quiet preferable for grineer

Yes.. ironically.. all the elemental augment are stupidly strong..
It trumps Total Eclipse and Roar no matter how you build it...
Depending on how you set up, Ember with accelerant and fireball frenzy with 2~3 corrosive projection murders anything you see easily...
I only wish Ember skills doesn't eat energy insanely fast

Energy shouldn't be a problem if your trin is good. I do hate it when the trin I'm with can't supply energy fast enough. Positioning of team seems to help out quite a lot, too far forward and spawns for EV seem to get way worse.
