Due to the upcoming new enemy type, we are forced to reconstruct the Bottom Floor to adapt for the possibility of a new lab coming along in the future. Also, the addition of small gardens being used as connectors since they are equal grid size and provide variety in rooms used.

*Temporary Labs are being built in the main hall. Teleporters will be down once the main labs are gone.

I'm down to fund a sick new dojo.
You know, I have some experience with AutoCAD programs and architecture as a whole (it's what I was studying for before I realized I hated studying), and I'd love to get involved with this on a more intimate level.

Just a thought, not sure how it fits to your plans but you could maybe color the connecting rooms with the color of the lab(s) connecting to it? At least on the old layout could have saved me many wrong directions when I'd have seen from the corridor colors which had what. Like blue could indicate tenno / corpus etc

Like the lines you follow on the floor in a hospital?

Would make directions a whole lot easier

Basicly yeah. Or if room coloring is possible, maybe place some item next to specific lab doors in connecting rooms which can be easily associated with the lab behind door? Less running. Thou all this is unnecessary if there is teleporters all over the place

I tried to do that with the last layout with the statues in the front of the labs, which I will probably do again: Lions were the Infested lab, Grineer statues was obviously the Grineer lab, Turtles were the Corpus lab, and Dragons were the Tenno lab. But hopefully this layout is easier to get around since all the labs are all in one side (right).

As for coloring the rooms, I'll try to figure that out but one of the gardens is a nighttime garden and you can barely tell the wall color. We shall see once we complete all the rooms.

*EDIT: I replaced the Equinox Water Garden with a Stone Sand Garden (refer to the new layout in the first post). Scratch that, I liked the original layout with the water garden better.

I've no idea what extent of control you have in creating the dojo, but marker elements are usually supposed to be small and unobtrusive enough that they can go relatively unnoticed, while still being obvious enough that they can be noticed when one is looking for them.

Is it possible to rotate/rescale the circular pads and place those at regular intervals/high-traffic areas? If so, I think that would make it quite obvious. If you can't place them on the walls, you could always associate a color with a certain faction's lab and put it on the floor in front of each door that leads to it. That way, just following doors that are marked with the right dot will lead you right to where you need to go.

Also, why not get rid of the "wooden sand" room and use the third point on "stone sand" for the fifth lab? That way, you spend less resources creating nodes and you don't have another type of room dropped into a bundle of labs. You'd have exactly five points of transition. Put the Tenno and the Corpus labs in the first room, as the labs themselves are thematically similar, and the Grineer, Infested, and Sentient in the second.

As per the comment about gardens, I don't know very much about their elements, because I never spent much time in the purely aesthetic rooms. I can definitely check it out, though.

Not sure what you are referring as "circular pads", as many decorations are circular?

We need a minimum of 2 rooms/connectors to the right of the elevator for a total of 5 nodes.

I was referring to the circular discs people frequently use for the whole "floating trading post" thing. Also, I keep forgetting the triangles mean "elevator".
