SSI_GrandDaddySlimer: eh, right, it's a reeeeally long show, and it embraces society and people of his time. Today, our society is so unstable and easily shifting between phases that it's just natural that a show like this is more chaotic than it was in the past. In my opinion, between 9th and 10th doctor we reached a really good balance between plot of the single episode and plot of the season. From there yeah it was still watchable but not as magnetic as it was. Now is just "oh there is a rule UOPSS not there anymore". You can't just reboot the universe because you burned a main character. You can't just rewrite the only one basic rule of the show because you need to add more seasons. You just can't add 20sec of episode to save a character just because the actress said "naa i stay, i still can be useful". As Warframe has some holes here and there, so DW. Maybe it's just a scaling problem: the bigger you get, the bigger the "wow-effect" has to be, the bigger things as continuity and sense start crumbling apart because the main mission is to attract more without describing what it's already there.
Maybe.
What do you think about it?
